Privacy notice

Last updated October 2026

Answerweight is a product of Inarius Dynamics. This notice covers the free AI visibility checker and our website.

What we collect

• The email, brand, category, website and optional competitor you enter.
• The checker result (the questions asked, whether your brand was named, competitors and sources).
• A salted one-way hash of your IP address, used only for rate limiting. We do not store your raw IP address.

Why

To run the check you asked for, prevent abuse, and send you one personal follow-up about your result. We send occasional updates only if you tick the optional box, and every update has an unsubscribe link.

Who processes it

Your brand, category and competitor are placed into fixed questions sent to Perplexity's API to generate the answers. Your email is not sent to Perplexity. The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, bot protection via Turnstile). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you personally or across sites. We don't sell your data.

Retention and your choices

We keep checker records for 12 months, then delete them. To get a copy, correct, or delete your data, or to unsubscribe, email [email protected].
